Darren Ho has never been afraid to push the limits. A pioneer of Hawaiʻi skateboarding in the 1970s, Ho landed a professional contract with Town & Country while still a teenager. As a trailblazer who helped revolutionize the sport, he competed around the world and experienced an entire professional career before turning 21. His contributions earned him induction into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame and the Hawaiʻi Sports Hall of Fame. Kelly Hee is the Director of Mental Health Care Services for University of Hawaiʻi Athletics. Kolten Wong is one of Hawaiʻi's most accomplished Major League Baseball players. A former All-American at the University of Hawaiʻi, Wong became the first position player in program history selected in the first round of the MLB Draft.
