In this second installment about live music, the Out of Focus Guys complete their discussion regarding some of the shows/events experienced the previous summer, briefly discuss movie soundtracks, scores and name-drop a few composers that they favor.
Not to be overlooked or understated is the first guest, Mike, who explains his own personal and eclectic journey with music, growing up on hair bands, finding his way to jazz and playing music for notable figures and puking his guts out after soloing for thousands!
A couple bands to check out that we make mention of in this episode:
Crosses
Haste The Day (new album on the way)
Story of the Year (album mentioned: A.R.S.O.N.)
Maynard Ferguson
Tyler Childers
Marcus King
Steven Wilson Jr. (has an excellent cover of Stand By Me!)
"Keep adding to your soundtrack!"
