The Local Blueprint is officially underway.

For our first official guest episode, Steve Barton and Robin Pampillonia-Hunt sit down with Grace Hunt and Jai Stevenson, the young authors behind Super Jai & Princess Grace.

They talk about how the idea for the book came together, what it was like creating something as friends, and the story behind bringing Super Jai and Princess Grace to life.

This episode is a little different from where The Local Blueprint is headed long term, but it felt like the perfect place to start: close to home, centered around creativity, community, and people building something of their own.

From here, Steve and Robin will be heading out across Richardson and DFW to meet more local business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders and share the stories behind what they’re building.

Welcome to The Local Blueprint.

In Episode 1, Steve Barton and Robin Pampillonia-Hunt introduce the show, what it’s all about, and where they plan to take it. Rooted in Richardson, Texas and the greater DFW area, this podcast is about the people, businesses, and stories that make the community what it is.

And they’re not planning to stay behind a studio desk every week. Expect Steve and Robin to get out into the wild, visit local businesses, meet people around Richardson and DFW, and bring those conversations to you.

They’re kicking things off with a quick introduction before their first guest episode, featuring Robin’s daughter Grace Hunt and her friend Jai Stevenson, who join them to talk about the book they wrote together, Super Jai & Princess Grace.

This is just the beginning!
