  • When Fear Stops Running Your Life | Henry Ammar | Episode 58
    Sep 23 2026
In this episode of the Life Legacy Podcast, Jaxon Cummings sits down with Henry Ammar for a deeply personal conversation about personal transformation, fear, faith, love, trauma, relationships, and becoming fully alive.Henry explains that many behaviors we consider weaknesses—people-pleasing, passivity, perfectionism, fear of failure, anxiety, or constantly worrying about what others think—can actually be adaptive responses developed earlier in life. The problem occurs when those responses continue controlling us long after the original threat is gone.A major theme throughout the conversation is the distinction between fear that protects us and fear that prevents us from living. Henry argues that meaningful transformation requires more than simply telling ourselves to "try harder." It requires understanding the root of our patterns, developing loving self-awareness, and creating enough internal safety to confront the truth.Henry also explores his Christian faith and the idea that love must come before transformation. Using the story of Jesus and the woman caught in adultery, he describes a sequence of love, acceptance, and then change: love yourself where you are, while loving yourself enough not to remain there. The conversation becomes particularly personal when Henry discusses his parents, his mother's illness and death, his father's struggles, and difficult seasons in his own life. Rather than viewing those experiences only through the lens of suffering, he describes how they ultimately shaped his compassion, faith, presence, and sense of purpose. The episode ultimately lands on a powerful invitation: don't allow fear to make you play small. Do the inner work, embrace the parts of yourself you have rejected, and use what you've lived through as fuel to become who you were meant to be. Henry describes this as moving from fear to freedom, from fear to love, and from surviving life to being fully alive.CONNECT WITH HENRY AMMAR*podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/making-it-happen-with-henry-ammar/id1313648725*website: https://www.masculineandfeminine.com/blueprint-for-love*Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/henryammar?igsh=MXRpb2M4ZG96dzE3dQ==*Youtube: https://youtube.com/@henryammar?si=5BkyYEmOlSwLo-Pz*Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1BDhWPr5g7/?mibextid=wwXIfr*TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thehenryammar?_r=1&_t=ZP-95NXNTI5maE*LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/henryammar?utm_source=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=member_iosLISTEN/WATCH/SUBSCRIBE TO THE “YOUR LIFE LEGACY PODCAST”*Apple Music - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-life-legacy-podcast/id1740167449 *Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/2Cd8XFP59Ar864GcaoEDxW *YouTube Podcasts - https://www.youtube.com/@thelifelegacypodcast *Amazon Music Podcasts - https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/b1949e1f-a973-47da-b1e0-538945afa748/the-life-legacy-podcast *iHeartRadio Podcasts - https://www.iheart.com/podcast/269-the-life-legacy-podcast-165910407 CONNECT WITH “THE LIFE LEGACY PODCAST”*LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/jaxon-cummings-%F0%9F%92%AD%F0%9F%8E%A5-24b40a149/ *Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/lifelegacypodcast/ *TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@lifelegacypodcast *YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@thelifelegacypodcast *Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61558217934317 *Threads - https://www.threads.net/@lifelegacypodcast *X - https://twitter.com/lifelegacypod *Website - https://your-life-legacy.com/ *Email for general messages - lifelegacypodcast@outlook.com *Collab with us - lifelegacypodcast@outlook.com*Sponsor Us - lifelegacypodcast@outlook.comPRODUCTION CREDITS:Recorded at Mindset Content Creation StudiosProduced by Tommy MooreBrought to you by Vodcasts by Tommy Moore Presents - https://www.instagram.com/vodcasts_by_tommymoore/HASHTAGS#TheLifeLegacyPodcast #jaxoncummings #tommymoorepresents #personaldocumentaries

  • The Hardest Lessons Become the Greatest Gifts | Jonny Schmidt | Episode 57
    Sep 14 2026
In this episode of the Life Legacy Podcast, Jaxon Cummings sits down with his longtime friend Jonny Schmidt for a conversation that moves from friendship, family, and faith into profound experiences with grief, loss, cancer, entrepreneurship, and legacy.Jonny begins by talking about what motivates him today: his wife and young daughter, Olive. Although he works extremely hard and spends long hours building businesses, his underlying motivation is providing for and building a meaningful life with his family. The conversation then explores Jonny's upbringing in Utah, growing up as a twin, and being raised in a home where the gospel of Jesus Christ was at the center of everyday life. Jonny describes how his parents made faith part of the family's daily rhythm through scripture study and consistency. The episode takes a much more emotional turn when Jonny discusses his older sister Annie, who tragically died while he was serving a mission in Ireland. Annie was remembered as extraordinarily selfless, particularly in the way she cared for Jonny, his twin Chris, and other people around her. Her influence ultimately shaped Jonny's philosophy about serving others, recognizing people who feel overlooked, and resisting pride. The discussion then shifts to Jonny's mother, Michelle, who has been battling stage-four breast cancer. Jonny describes a powerful family experience where they essentially held a "living funeral"—sharing what they loved and appreciated about one another while his mother was still alive. That experience dramatically changed Jonny's perspective on family and what constitutes real success in life. One of the most powerful ideas in the episode is Jonny's description of grief. He explains that grief can become completely consuming, stripping away the distractions of everyday life and forcing a person to recognize what actually matters. He also talks about learning to appreciate the experience of grief itself rather than trying to escape it.Jaxon and Jonny also discuss their belief that God can use difficult experiences to redirect a person's life. Jaxon explains how focusing attention on God's hand can make a person more aware of moments where they perceive divine guidance.Eventually, the conversation turns toward entrepreneurship. Jonny explains that he spent years wanting to leave traditional employment and build something of his own. He and business partners built a marketing agency that eventually allowed his wife to leave her job. That entrepreneurial mindset eventually intersected with his mother's cancer experience. Jonny learned about a government compensation program for certain people affected by nuclear testing exposure and became motivated to help other families discover whether they could qualify. The episode concludes with a discussion about using business as a vehicle to serve people rather than simply generate income.Jonny's final message is essentially to trust God enough to hand Him your life, believing that He can do more with it than you can do alone.CONNECT WITH JONNY SCHMIDTLinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonny-schmidt-319675109/Website - https://www.byldcommerce.com/Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/jonnyschmidt11/LISTEN/WATCH/SUBSCRIBE TO THE “YOUR LIFE LEGACY PODCAST”*Apple Music - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-life-legacy-podcast/id1740167449 *Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/2Cd8XFP59Ar864GcaoEDxW *YouTube Podcasts - https://www.youtube.com/@thelifelegacypodcast CONNECT WITH “THE LIFE LEGACY PODCAST”*LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/jaxon-cummings-%F0%9F%92%AD%F0%9F%8E%A5-24b40a149/ *Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/lifelegacypodcast/ *TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@lifelegacypodcast *YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@thelifelegacypodcast *Website - https://your-life-legacy.com/ *Email for general messages - lifelegacypodcast@outlook.com

  • Build Something that Matters | Tyler Dabo | Episode 56
    Aug 29 2026
Tyler Dabo shares the story behind his personal and professional journey, with a recurring emphasis on becoming a well-rounded person rather than simply a successful entrepreneur. The conversation begins with Tyler describing his philosophy of competing in every area of life while maintaining perspective. For him, professional success means little if it comes at the expense of his family. He wants his children to remember him as a father who was present, involved in their lives, and someone they would want to spend time with—even potentially work alongside someday.Tyler then traces his entrepreneurial instincts back through his family history. His grandfather left Croatia as a young man, eventually building businesses in California through hard work, sacrifice, and risk. Visiting his grandfather's birthplace gave Tyler a new appreciation for the courage and character that had been passed down through his family. That theme of taking calculated risks appears repeatedly throughout Tyler's life. One pivotal example came when he was playing football at Dixie College but realized he still wanted to play baseball. Despite missing the baseball tryouts, he walked onto the field, approached the coach, and earned an opportunity to play. That decision eventually led to baseball becoming a major part of his college experience and opening the door to professional scouting.Another major crossroads came when Tyler was faced with the possibility of being drafted into professional baseball while simultaneously feeling called to serve a mission. He ultimately chose the mission, despite being warned that returning to baseball afterward would be difficult. Looking back, he considers that sacrifice one of the best decisions of his life because of the experiences and relationships that followed.Faith becomes an important part of the conversation. Tyler describes praying about the mission decision and feeling a powerful sense of clarity and responsibility. He also discusses his experience serving as a bishop while raising a young family and how that experience changed the way he viewed other people. He learned that virtually everyone is carrying something difficult and that leadership requires patience, compassion, humility, and a willingness to recognize one's own imperfections. The conversation then shifts toward entrepreneurship. Tyler explains how his career in publishing exposed him to some of Utah's most successful business leaders and ultimately inspired him to leave a comfortable job and build something of his own. The most intense entrepreneurial story involves Pure Infusion. Tyler and his partners entered healthcare without previous experience in the industry, built the company around being "patient obsessed," and grew it into a large network of ambulatory infusion centers.Ultimately, Tyler says the greatest reward isn't necessarily the financial result. It's the building—solving problems, working through adversity, improving the process, and watching something grow. He connects this to a lesson from one of his baseball coaches: "putting the hay in the barn." The work you do consistently becomes the preparation that allows you to perform when the moment arrives. The episode closes with Tyler's challenge to listeners: do the thing that's been sitting in the back of your mind. Take the risk. Act on inspiration. Solve problems. And, perhaps most importantly, don't postpone happiness until some future achievement. Find joy in the process now.CONNECT WITH TYLER DABOLinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/tylerdabo/ Website - https://buildcapitalpartners.com/ and https://pureinfusion.com/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/tylerdabo/ LISTEN/WATCH/SUBSCRIBE TO THE “YOUR LIFE LEGACY PODCAST”*Apple Music - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-life-legacy-podcast/id1740167449 *YouTube Podcasts - https://www.youtube.com/@thelifelegacypodcast
