    Kyle Wallace fills in on The Homer Hour and wastes no time sounding the alarm over the Packers’ offensive line. Aaron Banks has officially been ruled out against Atlanta, Zach Tom is done for the season and Green Bay could be forced to protect Jordan Love with a completely reshuffled group. Kyle asks who deserves the most blame for a unit that has struggled to protect Love, establish the run and keep the offense out of brutal third-down situations. Jason Wilde joins the show and says the Packers are still trying to figure out exactly what they are through two uneven weeks. Wilde expects a possible starting five of Jordan Morgan, Jagger Burton, Sean Rhyan, Jacob Monk and Anthony Belton against Atlanta and explains why committing to that group could at least give Green Bay some desperately needed continuity. He also says the offense may need simplified protections, additional blockers and a functioning running game to keep Love upright. Plus, Wilde offers a different explanation for Matt LaFleur’s controversial run-run sequence against the Jets: maybe the conservative play calling wasn't about a lack of trust in Jordan Love, but a lack of trust in the offensive line protecting him. Then Homer is joined by Brewers fan favorites Corey Hart and Jeff Jenkins to ask the big October question: is this Milwaukee’s best opportunity to reach the World Series since 1982? Hart and Jenkins explain why this Brewers team feels different from some of their own playoff clubs, praising the organization’s ability to continually replace departing stars, develop young players and create a clubhouse where everyone embraces their role. Jenkins also compares the current Brewers’ chemistry to the 2008 Phillies team he won a World Series with. Plus, Hart and Jenkins explain what changes once October arrives and why Milwaukee’s biggest challenge may be resisting the urge to change anything at all. Jenkins says “every pitch is an event” in the postseason, while Hart believes the Brewers need to stay within themselves instead of chasing power or trying to become a different team.     On The Homer Hour, Steve “Homer” True and Bryan Bulaga celebrate the most important fact from Sunday: the Packers won the game. But once they move beyond the final score, Bulaga admits Green Bay’s 20-17 overtime escape against the Jets was beyond ugly. The offense showed almost no life for much of the afternoon, while the defense and special teams repeatedly kept the Packers alive. Jason Wilde joins Homer and Bulaga to sort through an offensive line that was nearly wiped out by injuries. With Zach Tom potentially facing a lengthy absence, Aaron Banks battling another injury and Donovan Jennings also going down, Green Bay finally turned to Jagger Burton. Wilde and Bulaga believe the likely group moving forward is Jordan Morgan, Burton, Sean Rhyan, Jacob Monk and Anthony Belton, with very little proven depth remaining behind them. There are real reasons for optimism elsewhere. Bulaga names Lukas Van Ness as one of his biggest standouts after another strong performance, while Wilde points to Skyy Moore revitalizing a return game that had been nonexistent. The guys also praise Jonathan Gannon and a defense that has played well in consecutive weeks without Micah Parsons. If that defense and special teams can continue carrying their weight, the offense may not need to be spectacular while Green Bay pieces its line back together.
