Our guest authors, Dr. Eric Maisel, author of "Brave New Mind: The Art of Serene Readiness" and more than fifty other books, and Tim Tamashiro, author of "How to Ikigai: Lessons for Finding Happiness and Living Your Life’s Purpose," will share stories, insights, and practical wisdom about creating meaning, discovering what makes us come alive, and meeting life with greater clarity, courage, and purpose. Brenda Knight, co-founder of Books That Save Lives, will also join the panel, offering perspective from her decades of publishing and community-building work. The conversation will be facilitated by Sherry Richert Belul, author of "The Love List of a Lifetime" and "Say It Now," known for her warm and heartfelt approach to connection, reflection, and meaningful living. His newest book, "Brave New Mind: The Art of Serene Readiness," offers practical guidance for meeting the stress, anxiety, and uncertainty of modern life with both inner calm and clear-eyed awareness. Tim Tamashiro Tim Tamashiro is a bestselling author, international speaker, storyteller, and former host of CBC Radio’s national jazz program "Tonic." He is the author of "How to Ikigai: Lessons for Finding Happiness and Living Your Life’s Purpose," which introduces readers to the Japanese concept of ikigai—our reason for being, or what makes life worth getting out of bed for.
