Long before Marco Polo described the eastern islands, Muslim merchants and geographers were already recording the maritime highway to China.

This episode follows accounts from the ninth through fourteenth centuries describing the Sea of China, Canfu, seasonal winds, dangerous passages, monsoon timing, and the commercial system connecting Arabia, India, Southeast Asia, and Southern China.

Sources include the Akhbār al-Ṣīn wa-l-Hind, al-Yaʿqūbī, Abū Zayd al-Sīrāfī, al-Masʿūdī, al-Iṣṭakhrī, Marvazī, al-Idrīsī, and Ibn Battuta.
The point is not yet to identify Zipangu.

It is to establish the navigational environment before Marco Polo enters the investigation.

Ships could sometimes exploit unusual winds and exceptional conditions. But recurring commerce required recurring patterns.

Possibility is not pattern.

What if the geography behind Marco Polo’s Zipangu has been interpreted without first reconstructing the maritime world in which sailors actually traveled? The Forgotten Highway to the Isles of Gold begins a source-driven investigation into the winds, currents, trade routes, maps, coordinates, resources, and historical records that shaped navigation between China, Southeast Asia, the Philippines, and Japan. Rather than beginning with the conventional identification of Zipangu and working backward, this series starts with the physical and documentary evidence: medieval Muslim mariners, Chinese trade records, monsoon navigation, archaeological shipwrecks, historical routes to Japan, early maps, Pigafetta, Magellan, and Marco Polo himself. The central question is simple: If we remove the modern place-names and follow the ships, where does the evidence lead? This series accompanies the research presented in The Age of Exploration: Primary Sources and the Correction of Global Geography. Follow the source. Follow the wind. Follow the ship. And test the map. Sources are on-screen. Book coming soon. Yah Bless

This year, The God Culture had the pleasure of joining a group of viewers for Passover and Unleavened Bread. What a blessed time it was. This video is a live recording of Timothy's teaching on the Final Day of Unleavened Bread. We pray this provides a strong foundation answering the big question: Why Do We Keep The Feasts?

Leave Egypt Behind. Walk in Truth. Never Go Back.

This powerful closing message brings the Feast of Unleavened Bread into focus—not as a ritual, but as a life transformation.

Unleavened Bread is not just about removing leaven from our homes…
It is about removing sin, compromise, and false teaching from our lives.

📖 “Purge out therefore the old leaven… for even Messiah our Passover is sacrificed for us: therefore let us keep the feast… with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” (1 Corinthians 5:7–8)

This is not a 7-day moment.
👉 This is a new way to live.

In this message, we walk through:

- What Unleavened Bread really means
- Why obedience follows salvation
- The call to walk in newness of life
- Why we must never return to Egypt (sin and bondage)
- How the Feasts are still relevant today

📖 “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
📖 “That we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)
📖 “He brought us out… that He might bring us in.” (Deuteronomy 6:23)
