This is the video version of the interview Mark held with Tim Arnett, owner of Spring Creek Tavern in Hot Springs, NC.

On September 26, 2024...the rain had moved in. The water was rising. But by the time Tim left his business, he was thinking that perhaps it was not going to be as bad as they were predicting.

Unfortunately, that was not the case and the town and many of the towns in the North Carolina mountains were swallowed by the flood waters. This interview talks about that night, the next day, and what the next 18 months have been like.

Bell Park has just opened in Henderson County, North Carolina. The park is named after Chief and Call Bell, pioneers in the youth camping business. Gary and Mark met in Chief's Camp Mondamin in 1971. We're still great friends after over 50 years.
