A Voice for Worship: The Five Offerings, and How They Point to Jesus. What if the tabernacle offerings were a dress rehearsal for the cross? In this episode, host Waldo Malan talks with Dr. Lynn Griebahn about the five offerings the priests made: the burnt, meal, peace, sin and trespass offerings. They show how Jesus fulfilled each one. Lynn draws on Hebrew word meanings to explore the seven times Christ's blood was shed, what the laying on of hands meant, and why Barabbas's full name matters. From there, the two look at Mary's costly anointing and the "sacrifice of praise." They move on to Jehoshaphat's praise that won a battle, and the name "I AM." Everything comes back to one message: worship isn't about what we do. It's about trusting a God who loved us first and resting in three words: It is finished. Lynn also shares news about his upcoming book, Jesus Revealed (coming soon to Amazon), and his new children's book, Psalm 91 for Kids. Follow Lynn on Facebook at Lynn Jr. Griebahn.
