This week, Colin and Robin talk about The Final Girls, a 2015 horror comedy that lovingly revisits the best tropes of ’80s horror. Our hero, Max, attends a screening of a B-movie her mother made 20 years earlier. When Max and her friends are mysteriously transported into the world of the film, they must use their knowledge of horror-movie tropes to survive. Watch out for spoilers, we talk this one to bits!
Every episode, we’ll sink our teeth into everything from blood-soaked slashers and supernatural nightmares to cult classics and horror comedies. We’ll break them down, rate the kills, roast the clichés, celebrate the masterpieces, and answer the only question that really matters…
Is it scary… or is it pretty bloody funny?
