The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of the Superman animated series (1996). It was a very different feel from Superman stories that came before (and in a good way). Plus our usual crazy talk, geek stuff, and tangents🙂.

What we're up to this week:

Clips of movies that are unavailable, buying vs renting vs streaming, Discord's latest weirdness, Lead Belly: The Man Who Invented Rock & Roll (2018) on Tubi, rewatching The Drew Carey Show, TURA! (2024) on Prime, Rifftrax is crowdfunding a 4-episode reunion

And hey, go check out our friend Madeleine's KS campaign for Morgana Pendragon 🙂

And a link to the Dropping Names with Brent and Jonny podcast

Producer's note: We record using Discord since Skype went away and, while Discord is much easier to use, it's not perfect. You may notice some brief dropouts from any of us at any time during the show. And unfortunately, as we're kind of a "recorded live" show, there's not much we can do to "fix" it. We hope the message gets through even when you miss a word or two along the way.

Shoutouts:

Pop Goes The Culture podcast network - go check them out! 🙂

#PodernFamily - an awesome group of indie podcasters supporting each other; find a podcast on literally anything by searching the hashtag

Manny the Martyr - thanks for letting us use your music; check them out by clicking the link

The Fellowship is pleased to present our Casting Call for a 1967 Supergirl TV series. We really enjoy doing these little exercises, and we hope you guys do too. Plus our usual crazy talk, geek stuff, and tangents🙂.

What we're up to this week:

Health issues and a big ice storm, Weapons (2025), TV catchup (or not), When We Went MAD! (2025) streaming everywhere, The Wrecking Crew (2026), I Spit On Your Grave (1978), big bag o' nothing

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of the 1966 Batman TV series. We've commented on this pivotal show before in passing, but it's turning 60 and we wanted to spotlight it. Plus our usual crazy talk, geek news, and tangents🙂.

What we're up to this week:

Health issues slowing us down (sorry about that), MTV has gotten nostalgic (well, more so), dipping toes into reality TV, awkward laughter, Ampire: The Sound of Music (2018) on Tubi, massacre-themed movies, still watching bodycam videos, video about the Wilhelm Scream

Come see the articles we talked about in the Geek News segment on the website!
