We all face this journey at some point in our lives—one that is rife with heartache and pain. But I want to remind you today that there is hope even in our darkest moments.

Perspective really is everything.

What's hard to endure in this life can be seen differently when we approach it with the eyes of Heaven. Hope in the midst of suffering is possible.

No one willingly enters into suffering, or do they?

From martyrs to missionaries, there is a throughline and a history of saints who have put themselves in places of suffering for the sake of the gospel and for communion with Jesus.

Unless you've been there, the entire thought of it seems crazy.

But how great is Jesus if there is nothing better on this Earth than that intimacy and sharing the suffering?
