  • The Case For Spoiling Your Kids To Build A Stronger Family
    Oct 29 2026
Did you know you can spoil your kids and have them grow up to be kind, loving, other-centered people? The trick is... You just have to do exactly the opposite of how most people today spoil their kids. Instead of spoiling them when they're young, spoil them when they become mothers and fathers! We often say that the key to raising great kids is to raise them to become great parents. With each generation "looking out for their grandkids", something naturally happens that puts family first, prioritizes doing the right thing over the easy thing, and builds a strong, multi-generational family team where no one gets left behind. In this episode, I want to teach you exactly how to make your kids' lives easier once they start having kids, and why it's so important that you do. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 When To Spoil Your Kids 1:10 Pastor Scott Anderson on Parenting Adults 2:39 My Magic Wand Wish 3:57 If You Have Young Kids Now... 5:44 When Your Kids Get Married... 8:59 What Now? • "Are You Willing To Be A Freak?": Family Teams LIVESTREAM!
    Oct 26 2026
Welcome to the first Family Teams Livestream! Jeremy and Blake Allsmith react to reels about family life and give their Family Teams take on it. We find this to be one of the most accessible ways to get more "training" on what it means to build a family team, because you'll end up hearing so much nuance that can get lost or missed in a more formal training or even podcast episode. You'll hear about multi-generational family destruction, Catholics having kids (and why they actually have the right idea), why it's actually good to "be a freak", overcoming dating analysis paralysis, and more. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 Family Teams Live! 2:03 Adam Lane Smith on Family Destruction 6:14 Why the Catholic Position on Having Kids Is Natural 11:09 "Are You Willing To Be A Freak?" 21:56 Individualism is Destroying Marriage 32:33 Overcoming Dating Analysis Paralysis 39:05 Wise Counsel Resources Mentioned: The Family Framework by Blake and Chandler Allsmith: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0800748042/ Follow Family Teams: Facebook: https://facebook.com/famteams Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/familyteams Website: https://www.familyteams.com --- Hi, welcome to the Family Teams podcast! • Stop Raising Daughters Who Are Fiercely Independent! Do This Instead.
    Oct 15 2026
We've been told that cultivating fierce independence in our daughters is the path to their success and protection. But what if that's completely wrong? What if the Bible actually points us toward something radically different? In our modern Western culture, we've bought into the idea that the ultimate goal for raising daughters is to make them fiercely independent from men, from family, from everyone. The thinking goes that if we don't, they'll be vulnerable and taken advantage of. But Scripture tells a completely different story. When you look at peak daughterhood in the Bible, from Ruth to Esther to Tamar, you don't see fierce independence being cultivated. You see something else entirely: fierce loyalty. This isn't about making women vulnerable or unprotected. It's about understanding God's design for how daughters are protected and how they thrive within the family team structure. In this episode, April and I unpack what it looks like to cultivate fierce loyalty instead of fierce independence in your daughters, why this is actually MORE protective (not less), and how this plays out practically in family life. April shares her own story of growing up with a father who cultivated this kind of loyalty in her heart, and how that transferred into our marriage and family in such a beautiful, stabilizing way. We also dive into the book of Ruth (which uses the word "daughter" more than any other book in the Bible) to see how God protects vulnerable women not through independence, but through family loyalty and covenant relationships. If you're raising daughters, this conversation will challenge everything you've been taught and give you a biblical vision for what you're actually cultivating in their hearts. On this episode, we talk about: 0:00 What Spirit Should We Be Cultivating In Our Daughters? 2:54 Fierce Loyalty 4:15 The Biblical Argument 8:48 Modern vs. Biblical Tension 12:08 The Garden Of A Daughter's Heart 22:00 But What If This Feels Really Unsafe? 25:49 Integrated Resources Mentioned: Integrated Mastermind: https://familyteams.com/integrated --- Follow Family Teams: Facebook: https://facebook.com/famteams Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/familyteams Website: https://www.familyteams.com --- Hi, welcome to the Family Teams podcast!
