The Colossian church was caught in a crosswind of cultures and influences and had started to doubt that Christ was truly enough to handle all of the concerns of their lives. As a result, they began to add beliefs and practices from these outside influences to the gospel of Christ they had first believed in. It doesn't take much reflection to see that many believers today face the same challenges and are tempted to doubt whether Christ is truly enough.
In this episode, Charles kicks off this series in Colossians talking about how the Colossian church was impacted by the gospel they had received.
