Filed in the archive as a preliminary deposit—unprocessed, uncatalogued, but necessary to mark the beginning.

Not a trailer, not an episode, just the part where I clear my throat before things get real stupid.

Remember, The Dumbest Girl Alive is a podcast about internet culture, fandom, lowbrow media, and the strange spirals between.

Welcome to The Dumbest Girl Alive! A podcast about dumb stuff that’s smart, smart stuff that’s dumb, and everything rotting in between.

Hosted by Fern (chronically online archive banshee, research romantic, emotional shitposter), TDGA treats 'lowbrow' culture with highbrow curiosity and irreverent care. Each episode spirals from the trivial (a trope, a cursed scent, a blog-era overshare) into the sprawling: grief, fandom, literature, history, identity, and that one oddly specific feeling you thought only you had.

It’s funny. It’s sharp. It’s a little cursed. Fern tried really hard, okay?

Music by DBMiller.
