Our MBFC team made their final Eastern Conference trip last Saturday to Charleston to take on the 2nd-place Battery, and despite a valiant effort, came away with a 1-0 defeat and were therefore mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Not to fear, as they return this Saturday to the familiar confines of Cardinale Stadium to host Western Conference playoff hopefuls Lexington on Hometown Heroes night! Let's talk about it!

Last Saturday saw Western Conference rivals Phoenix Rising FC arrive at Cardinale Stadium to face our Monterey Bay FC, placing 10th against 12th in week 27 to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night -- let's discuss!

Our NorCal rival SacRepublic came to Cardinale last Saturday, and the Union managed to hold them to a 1-1 draw to share the spoils, the single MBFC goal scored by restored-to-forward Omari Glasgow. Then on Tuesday, Oz & Dan were invited to join Chairman/Chief Soccer Officer, Oliver Wyss, at Cardinale Stadium for a tour of the facility and to take in a regular training session with the lads. There, our guys got a chance to speak to new signing, JUDSON (JOOOOOD-sun), about his time with the San Jose Earthquakes and his excitement about playing here with MBFC. Let's talk about all of that!

Last weekend saw possibly our last road trip to the Oakland Coliseum to take on the Roots, and we returned home with our first point since July 4th (!) -- let's talk about it!

The MBFC lads traveled to Rhode Island last Saturday, one of the final two Eastern Conference foes left to face this season. Unfortunately, the end result was a 3-1 loss, and we look forward to hosting Cal State rivals Sac Republic this Saturday at Cardinale Stadium. Only eight games remaining in the 2026 season... let's discuss!

This week, Oz & Dan sit down with Monterey Bay FC's new Communications Manager, Marco Peralta!
