The Dishing Doulas Podcast, with Jo-Anne Haun and Karen Hendrickson of Death Doula Network International is changing the world’s approach to dying, death and ultimately living - ONE CONVERSATION AT A TIME.Copyright 2024 All rights reserved.
  • From this ... to that ... The Bridge Between
    Sep 3 2026

Karen Hendrickson shares what's happened since she and Jo-Anne Haun stopped the Dishing Doulas Podcast.

Looking back now, she can see that her experiences with the Dishing Doulas and The Death & Dying Network International have been the foundation for what's ahead.

There's a new chapter on the horizon. One that has emerged from everything Karen has learned in her work as a death doula, and even more importantly, as a caregiver. Yes, she's learned about death, but she's also learned about life and how easy it is to lose ourselves while loving other people.

Karen is no longer asking, "How do we care for someone else?" She is now asking, "Who are we becoming while we're caring for others?"

A new body of work is emerging. That work is becoming Inside the Living Room with Karen Hendrickson.

Karen shares insight into how the Dishing Doulas Podcast has led to her next series of important conversations. Not a new conversation. Just an extension of the conversations we've already had related to end of life, caregiving, and grief. But now with a focus on those who do the caring. Mostly the wives, the mothers, the daughters, the sisters.

Because after we spend years caring for everyone else ...

Eventually, we have to ask ... "Who is caring for us?"

We hope you explore what's available Inside the Living Room and maybe, just maybe, you'll recognize yourself within these conversations.

Know that Inside the Living Room is available through Substack or as a Podcast. You choose what works best for you!

So, pull up a chair and join Karen, Inside the Living Room.

She'd love to see you there!

    Go gently.
