Halloween Special episode: What happens after death? Is hell really as terrifying as the Bible describes? In this gripping episode, Daniel sits down with Bill Wiese, author of 23 Minutes in Hell, to hear the story behind one of the most widely discussed Christian testimonies about hell. Bill says that on November 23, 1998, he woke during the night, was suddenly pulled out of his body, and found himself in what he describes as a prison cell in hell. He recounts terrifying heat, darkness, demons, physical torment, thousands of people screaming in a massive pit of fire, overwhelming isolation, a horrific stench, difficulty breathing, exhaustion, thirst, and a level of fear unlike anything he had ever experienced. Then, Bill says, Jesus appeared. The purpose of the experience was simple: “Many people do not believe in hell. Hell is real.” Daniel and Bill also go beyond the testimony itself and tackle some of the hardest theological questions surrounding eternity.Throughout the conversation, Bill repeatedly emphasizes that people do not need to believe his personal experience, they need to examine Scripture for themselves. Whether you agree with every detail of Bill’s testimony or are hearing his story for the first time, this conversation forces us to confront one of life’s biggest questions: Where will you spend eternity?23 Minutes in Hell Book: https://soulchoiceministries.org/product/23-minutes-hell-10th-anniversary-editionSoul Choice Ministries: https://soulchoiceministries.org***10% discount*** in our store using the coupon code: DANIEL10Spiritual Gifts Are For Today Book: https://shopus.cfan.org/collections/new-releases/products/spiritual-gifts-are-for-todayCfaN Store: https://shopus.cfan.orgFurious Book: https://cfan.org/furiousMonthly Ministry Partner: https://cfan.orgMinistry Training: https://cfan.org/training#DanielKolenda #BillWiese #23MinutesInHell #Hell #HellIsReal #Afterlife #Eternity #ChristianPodcast #ChristianTestimony #Jesus #Salvation #HeavenAndHell #NearDeathExperience #OutOfBodyExperience #Annihilationism #Universalism #BibleTeaching #Gospel #ChristForAllNations #CfaN00:00 – COMING UP00:51 – Meet Bill Wiese03:00 – What the Bible Says About Eternal Hell05:42 – Halloween, Demons & the Reality of Evil09:40 – Who Was Bill Wiese Before This Experience?13:44 – Was It Just a Dream?15:29 – Vision, Symbolism & Taking Hell Literally18:16 – Why Christians Need to Understand Hell20:16 – Annihilationism, Universalism & Eternal Punishment25:15 – What Bill Would Say to Kirk Cameron27:27 – Why Would a Loving God Allow Hell?32:56 – The Story Begins: November 23, 199835:05 – The Demons in the Prison Cell37:24 – Darkness, Fire & Thousands Screaming40:06 – Isolation, Stench & Struggling to Breathe43:28 – Maggots, Thirst & Terror46:58 – Jesus Appears in Hell48:26 – “Why Did You Send Me Here?”52:37 – Can Someone Be Saved After Death?54:26 – Is Hell Really Inside the Earth?56:52 – Rich Man & Lazarus: Story or Parable?1:01:31 – Hades vs. the Lake of Fire1:04:59 – Is Jesus Really the Only Way?1:09:15 – Why Can’t God Just Overlook Sin?1:11:16 – Do “Good People” Go to Hell?1:16:42 – Are There Children in Hell?1:17:26 – What About Suicide?1:19:31 – Prayer for Salvation1:20:23 – What to Do After Giving Your Life to JesusSubscribe to CfaN to receive our latest messages:Email: https://cfan.org/subscribeSMS: Text CFAN to 94090To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world click here: https://cfan.org/donateEvangelist Daniel Kolenda YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/⁨@DanielKolenda⁩ Evangelist Daniel Kolenda Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/evangelistkolendaEvangelist Daniel Kolenda Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/evangelistdanielkolendaMB01C9LQPEMPTVT

Did the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit disappear with the apostles or are miracles, prophecy, healing, and tongues still available to believers today? In this deep-dive conversation, Daniel Kolenda sits down with New Testament scholar Dr. Craig Keener to make the biblical, historical, and evidential case that spiritual gifts are still for today. Daniel and Craig have just released their new book, Spiritual Gifts Are for Today: A Biblical Case for the Continuing Work of the Holy Spirit, and in this episode they tackle some of the strongest arguments used to defend cessationism. They discuss why they believe the New Testament never teaches that miraculous gifts would disappear, why explicit biblical commands to pursue prophecy and spiritual gifts still matter, and whether cessationism itself depends on a theological framework imposed onto Scripture after the biblical period. The conversation also examines historical and modern miracle claims, including medically documented cases of healing, miracle reports from the early church fathers, and evidence that supernatural works of God continued long after the apostolic era. Daniel and Craig ultimately argue that the case for continuationism does not rest on experience. It rests on Scripture. And if the Bible commands Christians to earnestly desire spiritual gifts, their challenge is simple: Why would we stop pursuing what the New Testament never tells us has ceased?Spiritual Gifts Are For Today Book: https://shopus.cfan.org/collections/new-releases/products/spiritual-gifts-are-for-today***10% discount*** in our store using the coupon code: DANIEL10CfaN Store: https://shopus.cfan.orgDr. Craig Keener: https://craigkeener.com#DanielKolenda #CraigKeener #SpiritualGifts #Cessationism #Continuationism #HolySpirit #SpeakingInTongues #Prophecy #Miracles #Healing #JohnMacArthur #StrangeFire #ChristianPodcast #BibleTeaching #NewTestament #Charismatic #Pentecostal #ChristianTheology #SpiritualGiftsAreForToday #CfaN #ChristForAllNations00:00 – COMING UP00:39 – Craig Keener & Spiritual Gifts Are for Today05:05 – Did Miracles Really Disappear After the Apostles?09:12 – John MacArthur, Strange Fire & Why Craig Responded13:28 – Is Cessationism Heresy?18:10 – Does God Still Give Power Against the Demonic?19:44 – Reacting to the Strange Fire Arguments23:10 – Does 1 Corinthians 13 Prove the Gifts Continue?26:13 – Did Apostles Cease?31:20 – The Danger of Arguing From Silence35:04 – The Strongest Biblical Case for Spiritual Gifts37:27 – Craig Keener: From Atheist to Speaking in Tongues42:38 – Why the Global Church Rarely Debates Cessationism43:43 – Can You Build Doctrine From the Book of Acts?47:00 – Miraculous vs. Non-Miraculous Gifts49:16 – “Earnestly Desire Spiritual Gifts”50:28 – Does Ephesians 2:20 End Apostles & Prophets?54:13 – Does the Gift of Healing Mean Everyone Gets Healed?57:51 – The Compassion Problem With Cessationism1:00:19 – Miracles Throughout Church History1:02:28 – Medically Documented Healings1:09:47 – Did Miracles Only Happen in Three Biblical Eras?1:12:49 – Why They Wrote Spiritual Gifts Are for Today1:14:13 – “Earnestly Desire the Greater Gifts”Monthly Ministry Partner: https://cfan.orgMinistry Training: https://cfan.org/trainingSubscribe to CfaN to receive our latest messages:Email: https://cfan.org/subscribeSMS: Text CFAN to 94090To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world click here: https://cfan.org/donateEvangelist Daniel Kolenda YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/⁨@DanielKolenda⁩ Evangelist Daniel Kolenda Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/evangelistkolendaEvangelist Daniel Kolenda Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/evangelistdanielkolendaMB01ADU6NZLET1D

What can the lives of Christianity’s greatest revivalists teach us about miracles, failure, second chance and finishing well? Daniel Kolenda sits down with author and revival historian Roberts Liardon, creator of the bestselling God’s Generals series, to uncover remarkable stories from some of the most influential ministers of the last century. Roberts shares how, at just 12 years old, an encounter with Jesus launched him on a lifelong mission to study the lives of great Christian leaders, learning not only why they succeeded, but also where some of them went wrong. The conversation goes especially deep into the life of Kathryn Kuhlman. Roberts recounts attending her services as a child and witnessing extraordinary scenes of healing, including people rising from wheelchairs. He also shares rarely heard stories surrounding Kuhlman’s final service, her last days in the hospital, her decision that she was ready to go home to heaven, and the powerful second-chance story behind the ministry for which she later became famous. Daniel and Roberts also explore the incredible life of Aimee Semple McPherson, including her massive evangelistic ministry, healing meetings, media innovation, exhaustion, and the lessons future generations can learn from her life. According to Roberts, some of the greatest failures in ministry did not begin with a deliberate decision to destroy everything. They began with exhaustion like physical, mental, and spiritual fatigue that weakened judgment and allowed things into a leader’s life they would normally never tolerate. Whether you’re a pastor, evangelist, ministry leader, or simply fascinated by revival history, this conversation contains decades of hard-earned wisdom about staying humble, protecting your private life, learning from failure, and finishing what God has called you to do.
