The DOM Life Podcast is at 100 episodes!!! After Master Nick found a writing online that resonated with him, he decided one more episode on Being a Good Dom was needed. With the help of Lady Dee, they discussed more on this topic from a different perspective. Master Nick feels that even a lifetime of researching is not enough. The writing held some hard truths about being a Dom hoping to open the eyes of those interested in pursuing a D/s dynamic.

Lady Dee starts with a quick update on her health and treatment. The discussion is how to be a good DOM in situations related to new relationships, poly relationship and existing relationships that are starting to include other aspects of BDSM. New relationships are exciting, chaotic and can lead to pitfalls that a DOM has to navigate while poly relationships require adding some additional tools to a DOM’s toolbox of skills. Master Nick explains how a change to a BDSM aspect in an existing relationship can react like a ripple in a pond effect, making changes across many tasks, punishments, scenes and care of a submissive.

The DOM Life sets up at Kinktasia 2025 to talk to people in attendance, and they did not disappoint! Master Nick and Lady Dee were very happy to meet everyone and learn more about them. Poor Lady Dee had to leave early due to her injuries, but Master Nick was still there asking all the questions. Take notice in all the similarities people say when they are asked to give advice to you, our listeners. This is the type of community that loves meeting people, whether they are interested in the same type of kinks or not. In the second part of Kinktasia 2025, Master Nick leads the discussion on all things Day 2 at the event. He revisits Day 1 to explain how Eve Riot did an amazing but cringe-worthy performance using legos as a base for many of their interactions while on stage. Cringe-worthy due to the imagined pain they HAD to have felt. Sadly, due to Lady Dee’s accident Master Nick and Lady Dee did not attend any of the educational opportunities on Saturday but were surprised at the selection of classes available at this event. In early September, they had about 5 classes, some over-lapping in times that they wanted to attend and were debating which to register for before it was no longer possible. Day 2 was a dungeon play event that comprised of multiple areas on multiple floors that had furniture set up for use. After a snafu with the start times, Master Nick arrived and was happy to watch a number of scenes including one involving whips and another with light flogging. Then, he had an opportunity to do an impact and electric scene himself with someone you’ve met on a previous episode. With Kinktasia 2025 in the books, they look forward to seeing what’s in store for 2026.
