As parents, we are so critical of ourselves, our actions, and the outcomes of our children.

In the moment, however, we forget one crucial defining piece of information - parenting is not only one job but MANY, constantly evolving jobs.

Taking the time to reset our brains is essential to be present and at our best in the moment with our little ones.

I also share a story about "Paw Patrol" and Arlo giving more attitude than we were ready for.....

I love you, and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it!

Oh man...dad brain on full display in this episode. Here, we cover a myriad of topics in no particular order, ranging from:

- How your seemingly "good" intentions can backfire
- When you get enough sleep, but your toddler comes in HOT and on a mission of destruction
- Sleep cycles, and how trying to control them are a lost cause
- And a number of random stories of the fuzzy father brain
- Parenting with two full-time jobs, and how tough that is

Sleep-deprived, running on fumes...you name it. Loads of topics jam-packed into 25 minutes on this one.

Enjoy the ride!

On this episode, we remember 9/11 - however, we take a different perspective on how we can use these types of tragedies to learn and become better down the road. Not to make the same mistakes.

I open with a funny story about a YouTuber commenting on my hair, and we touch on lots of hard-hitting topics surrounding the aftermath of 9/11, school shootings, and being a parent in the modern day.

Lots to unpack on this one - glad you're part of the ride.

Note: apologies for the audio quality on this one - sounds like it was picking up the computer speaker and not the mic.

On this episode, I dive back into the world of being a parent to a newborn child - except this time, I recall everything I forgot about the first time around!

Listen in as we chat about endless poopy diapers, the signature moments found in the seemingly tiniest events, and we might get interrupted by family dinner time.

I also tell an amazing story about my son finding a "grotesque" deformity on my body...

What did I forget to mention about being a parent to a newborn? Drop me a line!

We are fresh and back at it after a week off! On this week's episode, we dive into one of the most fun parts of having an active toddler - playing games!

We discuss 5 essential games that all parents should know (and take seriously for the development of their kiddos). Some games are either too much fun to pass up, or provide amazing opportunities for your child to develop life skills proactively.

We also talk about the ups and downs of life with two children, and I share a story about the importance of "leading by example" as a parent. Finally, I share Arlo's first known use of the "F" word...

So great to be back!

On this episode, we dive into the discussion of redirections - getting your child to do something else when they begin an activity that is "bad" or "wrong."

There are two sides to this debate, and we cover both sides to determine whether or not you should be using redirections in your daily lives with your kids.

I touch upon the MOST ANNOYING habit our toddler has at this point in time, and how I learn and grow from everything he throws at me (metaphorically, sometimes physically).

What is your stance - are redirections a good thing, or a bad thing?

On this episode, we talk about something all parents look forward to as soon as they have figured out the routine with their children - VACATION TIME!

We dive into some tips on how to build a successful trip with your kiddos and friends/family, including how to avoid the "wild cards" who could blow up the trip with one drunken rant.

We also talk about how to extend a little effort in order to maintain the friendships and relationships with those you love. In not making these small gestures, you may miss out on years growing and evolving with the people you care most about.

Let's take a little trip together!

On this episode, we dive into the mind of a 10-year old. A time in our lives many of us forgotten, Aiden Fallier joins us to chat about kids from his perspective, what the "hype" of the times entails, what it means to "flex," and breaks down what parents these days just don't understand. Finally, he schools us on what the best energy drink is out there.

Always nice to have a fresh take, and Aiden provides us with just that!
