    Gateway Arch Park could expand to Illinois riverfront

    Ryan McClure, Executive Director of the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, joins Chris and Amy in-studio. He lays out the original vision of Eero Saarinen, a Finnish-American architect, who designed the Arch and the grounds surrounding the monument. Those plans originally included land on the Illinois side of the river. McClure says his group is currently looking at an expansion of the Arch park across the river. 'We don't know yet what's going to go there,' says McClure, but that, 'we are committed to taking all the steps to get something amazing happening on that side of the river.' He says they, 'have land identified,' for an expansion.
