  • JUHI: motherhood, medicine, and building a life across cultures
    Jan 21 2026

In this episode, I’m joined by Juhi, a pediatrician and parent coach, to talk about the realities of becoming a parent while navigating the demands of a career in medicine, culture, and life in the U.S.

Juhi grew up in India and moved to the U.S. in her twenties for medical training. We talk about what it was like to enter an arranged marriage, have a baby during residency, and raise a family away from extended support. She shares what it’s like practicing medicine right now, especially in the age of misinformation, and how that experience shaped her work supporting parents as a parent coach outside of the exam room.

This is an honest conversation about motherhood, identity, and the quiet resilience it takes to build a life while holding many roles at once.

  • Yelena: from postpartum depression to secondary infertility, running through it all
    Jan 14 2026

In this episode, I’m joined by my friend Yelena, who I met in 2022 through the nonprofit 2020 Mom at their annual event, Mom Congress, where women from across the country advocate for better maternal healthcare. Paired together because we were both from New York, we quickly bonded over raising our families in NYC and our love of running.

We talk about postpartum depression, becoming a runner later in life, and Yelena’s experience with secondary infertility and IVF.

  • I took a break...rested? no. humbled? yes.
    Jan 7 2026

took a break from the podcast at the end of the year… rested? No. Humbled? Very much yes.

In this solo episode, I’m catching you up on the six weeks I stepped away — including a family trip to Hawaii with eight straight days of rain, a Christmas Eve ER visit, a fallen Christmas tree, shattered ornaments, and a tire blowout on the Long Island Expressway days before New Year’s Eve.

I also close out the mini series from the fall, preview what's coming next, and answer listener questions submitted on Instagram.
