In this episode I have the pleasure of speaking with two great local leaders in Orleans town government: Economic Development Coordinator and Public Information Officer Amanda Converse and Assistant Director of Planning and Community Development Elizabeth Jenkins.

Both Amanda and Elizabeth Have pivotal roles in helping Orleans collectively work towards becoming an even stronger community. With their focus built on the most important aspects of town development, including planning, housing, infrastructure and business growth, they also focus on other factors like evolving community needs, and strong communication methodology. In this episode i have the pleasure of speaking with two great friends, Kirsten Peacock and Nick Nudler, about writing their new play Midsummer DREAMers an adaptation and reinterpretation of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". This exciting new play will be running at Cape Rep Theater from June 18th through July 13th! Here is the LINK to buy tickets!

The cape is very lucky to have Nick & Kirsten back this summer performing at
Cape Rep, they're two of the most creative people I've ever met, and it is very special that they come to cape each year to perform and spread their infectious positive energy! Midsummer DREAMers is not the first play that they have written together, but you'll have to listen to the episode to hear about all the great things that they have accomplished. They are two of the fittest people I know, both physically and mentally, and their action on stage is truly something to behold.

In this episode I have the pleasure of speaking with Aleks Mazzeo of Mazzeo Construction about the charitable construction they're doing for homeowners in need. We also discuss their future plans to start a construction non-profit called "April's Angels" to help with the housing crisis on Cape Cod. Aleks is genuinely building towards a stronger community and has the heart and drive to do it!
