• Ep. 85 | The “Stop Nick Shirley Act” is a LIE
    Apr 23 2026

What if I told you California just introduced a bill that could make it a felony to expose fraud, just for posting what you find online? That would be crazy! Well, unfortunately for us that is the case in California, as lawmakers once again hide behind “immigration” and “protecting the vulnerable” to pass a much more sinister agenda. I’m breaking it all down for you today!

Clarification: I state in this episode that to violate AB 2624 results in a felony - but to clarify, per the bill text, an initial violation results in a $10,000 fine and one year imprisonment, while the threshold for a felony requires subsequent bodily injury. The direct text of AB2624 reads, "(2)A violation of this subdivision is punishable by a fine of up to ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per violation, imprisonment of either up to one year in a county jail or pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170 of the Penal Code, or by both that fine and imprisonment. (3)A violation of this subdivision that leads to the bodily injury of a designated immigration support services provider, employee, or volunteer, or other individuals residing at the same home address, is a felony punishable by a fine of up to fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170 of the Penal Code, or by both that fine and imprisonment."

  • Ep. 80 | The California Hospice Fraud Scandal Is Worse Than Anyone Thought
    Mar 19 2026

California is facing a massive hospice fraud scandal. A bombshell investigation by CBS News found that more than 700 hospice providers in Los Angeles County alone show signs of fraud, with some operating out of empty offices while billing millions to the Medicare system! After Gavin Newsom launched a civil rights investigation into comments made by Mehmet Oz about the problem, the controversy has only grown. This week, I break down what hospice fraud is, what investigators uncovered, how California’s oversight failures allowed it to happen – and what accountability could look like moving forward.
