After a week of high tension and intense debate across the UK following the prosecution of the murderer of Henry Nowak, Bylines Network talks to prominent Sikh MP Tan Dhesi.

In a revealing and powerful interview, Dhesi expresses his deepest sympathies for the Nowak family’s loss, and discusses faith, values, justice and why the actions of one person must not be exploited by extreme right-wing forces seeking to disrupt and divide communities.

In the midst of all th global news going on, there's an important piece of legislation making its way through parliament right now.

The Representation of the People Act extends the vote to include 16 & 17 year olds, as well as automnatic voter registration, controls party donations, and adds more voter ID to the accepted forms that we alredy have to deal with.

This could be a bill that shapes the next election as it adds millions more voters to the national conversation, as well as bans certain forms of donations such as crypto currency. So, our hosts thought it was important to talk about
