Brenda Mosby lost her sight at the age of 40, and she went through a personal journey to arrive at where she is now. Since she lost her sight, Brenda has earned a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, authored the book You Are Capable, and has traveled to five continents. Brenda is a job developer who helps People with Disabilities find employment, and is a certified Heal Your Life coach. The Brenda Fix features interviews with people within the Disability community, as well as personal messages of encouragement from Brenda. Also, expect advice and information regarding the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

The Brenda Fix is an audio podcast that currently releases every two weeks.

She has gained expertise on nonprofit accountability and best practices, publicly funded long-term community-based services, disability rights law, public benefits, and the intersectionality of systemic and individual advocacy. In 2010, she was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation. Julie also has M.S., and she and Brenda discuss their lives before disabilities, Brenda's personal story, and other topics.

The exhibit, "Disability Pride and The Arts", was open from October 7th - October 30th, 2022. It featured works by Luanne Burke, Merhia Wiese, Elliot Wiese, and Maggie Wiese.

    In today's episode, Brenda interviews Luanne Burke. Luanne is an accomplished sculptor, and in today's episode she and Brenda discuss how blindness affected Luanne's art, how the visual nature of dreams evolves after going blind, and other topics.
