The Final Ghouls are back and getting lost in the woods as we discuss 1999's The Blair Witch project! Holly, Jeremy and L examine their first found footage film together and explore its inestimable impact on horror.
Get Ready For: Our histories with found footage and why the format has its critics, Holly's schoolyard experiences hearing about how "real" it is, how our expectations affected our enjoyment of it, L's disdain of spoilers, the curse of being the "scariest movie ever," our thoughts on the so-called "unlikable" characters, the infamous shaky cam, scary stretches of road in Australia, the ambiguous ending, and Jeremy's rant about the sequels.
