The Biggest Lie | The Lion and Me with Kylee Shea | Episode 03
For most of my life, I believed God loved other people. I just didn't believe He could love me.
I believed I wasn't good enough. That somehow, I was the exception to His love.
For years, I carried that belief without even realizing how deeply it shaped the way I saw myself, my life, and my relationship with God.
In this episode, I share what began to change when I started therapy, confronted the lies I'd believed about myself, and found myself asking a deeper question: What if the things I believed about God weren't actually true?
As I began working through my past, I also joined a Bible study that challenged the way I had always viewed God. And one night, while holding my baby and crying out to Him, I experienced something that changed me in a way I still struggle to fully put into words.
For the first time, I didn't just believe that God loved me. I felt it.
This wasn't an overnight transformation. It was the beginning of learning who God really was, who He said I was, and what it meant to stop living according to the lies I'd carried for so long.
If you've ever struggled to believe that God truly loves you—not just people like you, but you—I hope this episode reminds you that your story is not beyond His redemption.
Thank you for being here and allowing me to share this part of my story with you! Praying my story brings one person one step closer to God.
