In this episode of Catholic Talks with Moses, we reflect on one of the most important moments in salvation history — the Annunciation, when the angel Gabriel announced God’s plan to the Blessed Virgin Mary and she responded with her faithful yes.
Using Luke 1:26–38, we explore Mary’s humility, trust, and obedience, and how her response opened the door for Christ to enter the world. We then connect this powerful moment to Our Lady of Guadalupe, reflecting on her loving appearance to Saint Juan Diego in Mexico and her continued role as a mother who leads us closer to Jesus.
This episode invites us to reflect on Mary’s example and ask ourselves where God may be calling us to say yes in our own lives, especially during the Advent season.
