🕯️💀 Bury Our Bones With Cinema opens the creaking crypt doors on The Addams Family — the gloriously gothic fever dream that turned America’s weirdest family into absolute cinema icons.

This week, we’re talking about gothic camp, cursed family values, unforgettable performances, and the sheer power of Raul Julia looking at his wife like she personally invented romance. From exploding trains to disembodied hands, deadly school plays to Thanksgiving chaos, this movie somehow balances heartfelt family warmth with attempted murder every five minutes. Honestly? Aspirational.

We dig into the chaotic production history, bizarre casting stories, behind-the-scenes drama, and why this film still feels completely unique over 30 years later. Is this the greatest family movie ever made for people who hated normal family movies? Why does every line from Wednesday sound like it should be carved into stone? And how did Christopher Lloyd create a version of Uncle Fester that feels both deeply unsettling and oddly lovable?

Expect morbid humour, deep dives, movie nerdery, and the kind of passionate cinematic discussion that would absolutely get us removed from a suburban neighbourhood watch meeting.
