Why does trauma you never personally lived through still show up in your body? In this episode, I answer a listener's question about inheriting war trauma from both her father and grandfather — a "functional freeze" in the root chakra that even ayahuasca couldn't shift.

We explore what it really means to carry generational trauma: why the freeze response is a form of protection rather than a flaw, why psychedelics can retraumatize instead of heal, and how the Black Tantric practice of confronting death can move deeply frozen fear into resilience and power. This episode starts with a comment from a viewer: 35 years old, a long-term abusive relationship behind her, grief she can't move, a sense that the years aged her faster than they should have. Silvana takes that question seriously and goes somewhere most spiritual teachers won't.

The answer runs through Black Tantra, specifically through Dhumavati, the widow goddess of the Mahavidyas. She is the goddess who ate Shiva. She has no wheels.
