Records, Tubi), and Gringo Fantastico (Troma's Disasterpiece Theater) break down a Dynamite from Sugar Land where MJF picked his team for the Forbidden Door cage match and stuck Andrade on it against his will, then made him hold Briscoe for a Diamond Ring shot just to twist the knife. Ospreay and Swerve had a ten-year-deep face-to-face that brought up Hangman, Wembley, and one very fragile neck, though the real headline was Ospreay announcing to a live crowd that he treated his new wife by taking her upstairs and smashing the life out of her, while Tony Schiavone slowly came to terms with his career. Mercedes Mone punched her ticket to the Owen final. Bandido suplexed Marina Shafir and handed Mox and Garcia their first loss as a team. Copeland and Christian promised to housebreak The Dogs. Omega squashed Tony Nese and got a staring contest with a silent Zack Sabre Jr. And Ciampa told Jericho to either get serious or stay home. Chris Jericho introduced the world to Tommy's Mommy and Goblin Face. Darby Allin returned with a skateboard and a line for the ages. Kevin Knight insulted the host city, bragged about his signing bonus, and got skateboarded for his trouble. MJF preached the gospel of money over friends and then had to literally buy five friends out of a briefcase two segments later. Plus Mox retained over Shane Taylor, Maya World pulled the upset of the tournament over Skye Blue, and Swerve and Brody beat each other half to death in a 16-minute semifinal with a Nana situation we are still trying to figure out. Mark Briscoe cut a promo so good MJF had to respond from an ice bath. Kevin Knight is officially a Don Callis Family member and is now waiting in line for a World Title shot, because apparently we're handing those out by mail-order. Mercedes Mone showed up out of nowhere as the Owen Cup wildcard. Thekla declared death on an entire wrestling promotion. And Will Ospreay and Mark Davis ended the night with a 24-minute Owen Cup semi that featured roughly half the roster, one screwdriver, and a Marina Shafir cameo we are still thinking about. Plus Tommaso Ciampa is hunting Jericho, the Young Bucks tried to book a match with The Dogs, and Andrade kissed a stranger on his way to the ring.
