Harvest is underway, we’re counting birds with some rather questionable names, plus talking about the future of free-to-air TV and the show we all love to hate…. Farmer Wants a Wife.

As always, we fill you in about some SA legends and share some cracking events happening across SA.

What defines a "female farmer"?

In this episode we mic up as we sit on a "creativity panel" at SheFarmer's Year of the Female Farmer event in Saddleworth.

We go beyond Greater SA and show a bit of raw vulnerability as we remind rural women it's ok to ditch the hats that no longer fit.

We thought we'd escaped to a quiet shearing shed... but the dog had other ideas, the father in law decided to high pressure clean the tractor, and somehow Melissa ended up advertising a job on her farm. 😂

Join us for another behind-the-scenes Greater SA catch-up as we talk the latest National Trust inquiry, October Long Weekend adventures, regional events and the stories that have kept us busy this week. It's basically our weekly meeting with a microphone... and you're invited along.

Greater SA is turning three, so we took a little trip down memory lane sharing the stories that have stuck with us and why the support from regional South Australians has kept us going.

We also chat about the Mundi Mundi Bash, including Abbie’s recent trip to the outback festival, plus footy finals, The Memory Kitchen cookbook bringing Crystal Brook generations together, Book Week and the events popping up across regional SA.

There’s plenty happening across country SA this week, and we chew the fat about all of it.

From Junelee hitting The Voice stage and 50 years of the Eyre Peninsula Field Days, to McLeod’s Daughters nostalgia, the Variety Bash, a cracking farming season and a packed regional events calendar, there’s plenty to get through.

Grab a cuppa, pour a wine or stick us on in the car. There’s plenty to fill your ears!
