A proposito di questo titolo

'TeaTalk Conversations: A Unique Mental Health Podcast' aims to bring much needed conversations about mental health and neurodiversity to the front of society’s mind so they can be rightfully acknowledged and supported.

Each week, listeners are introduced to a new conversation, often with a lived-experience guest, a mental health professional or a carer who deserve to have their voices heard where society has not provided them a platform to speak or allowed their perspectives to be supported.

TeaTalk Conversations episodes are full of advice, rambles and meaningful personal experience all to prove to the world that mental health and neurodiversity doesn't need to be seen as so controversial.

In the second episode of this series, I have a wonderful conversation with author Jessica Nixon (Levon Rider), to discuss how her writing and the experience of her grandma's passing was influenced by her struggles with ADHD, severe anxiety and depression.

We also explore a non-medicated treatment for severe depression: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Jessica's experiences throughout the sessions. For those book lovers out there, Jessica additionally gives us an amazing insight into her upcoming book: Someone To You.

We delve into conversations about puberty blockers, GP response, finding a family within the trans community and why they have decided to establish the organisation, Trans Strike Back.
