Tarot’s just a tool, right? But what happens when you take away the rules, the “official” meanings, and just let the cards speak? That’s exactly what we’re diving into in this episode of Spirit & Soul!
If you’ve ever thought, “Why is tarot so bloody hard?”—you’re not alone. The traditional Rider-Waite deck comes with its Victorian-era symbolism and rigid definitions, but what happens when modern decks strip that back and give you intuitive, free-flowing imagery?
Today, we’re exploring how tarot has evolved, why some decks feel impossible to read, and whether using tarot like an oracle deck might actually be the key to unlocking your intuition. We’ll cover:
✨ Why some decks work better for learning than others
✨ How to stop feeling “stupid” when reading tarot
✨ Whether tarot meanings really matter or if it’s all about intuition
This episode is a must-listen if you’ve ever struggled with tarot, felt disconnected from a deck, or wondered if you really need to memorize 78 meanings to give a good reading.
So grab your deck (or your prettiest oracle cards), and let’s talk tarot, intuition, and breaking the rules.
