A proposito di questo titolo

Talking with Paul explores life through the experiences people have, the work they do, their ideas, dreams, and knowledge.

This podcast is a growing collection of curiosities about who people are, what they know, and how things work. I hope the podcast, the interviews, and series are delightful exposures to ideas you have yet to consider and with people you may not typically engage.

Paul and the producers are eager to read your ideas and feedback through Patreon Messages at https://patreon.com/user?u=77900614 .

  • Musician, Jess Wayne
    Feb 6 2025

Jess Wayne formally studied a variety of subjects from mathematics to dance and then practiced law for 25 years. In 2009, he sold his practice to pursue a lifelong passion: Music. After studying music and releasing an album, Jess settled comfortably in the small, eclectic town of Taos, New Mexico, where he regularly performs.

"The journey has been a very long ride. Flashback to the 60's when young Jess (aka Douglas Jessop) was playing rock 'n roll in a garage band and playing high school dances. Then came a variety of exploratory careers including surveyor, cook, actor, modern dancer, photographer, filmmaker, lawyer, poet and music student at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Next came playing in numerous LA bands and recording for original projects. Now Jess is writing his own music with his own distinct voice - a singer/songwriter with huge variety because each song teaches him what it is about and what it wants. Music to feed and heal souls."

Ed had spent the day casually searching the quieter spots of Manitou Springs, the hidden gems of town that would add to his lifelong portfolio of photographs. He was warming up from the snowfall with coffee in a cafe when I walked in. I noticed his cameras and couldn't help but ask a question about them. The following conversation is what came next.

  • Talking on the Street
    Dec 6 2024

Paul went to the streets to ask people, "What do you wish?"

These street interviews are always interesting. I am surprised by some of the answers here but I was definitely surprised by a few people who became emotional while thinking of their answers. One of the participants hugged me after we spoke, thanking me for asking this question. How could I have anticipated this?

What do you think of these answers? What should have been the follow-up question to these answers? And, what do YOU wish?

The podcast is slowly growing and better fulfilling the vision to explore life through the experiences people have, the work they do, their ideas, dreams, and knowledge.
