A proposito di questo titolo

In this fictional romance series, Léa, a young university teacher intrigued by a stranger who regularly crosses her path in the metro, decides one day to seize an opportunity to follow him. Throughout the five episodes, our heroine takes listeners into the emblematic places and streets of the Haussmann district, meeting various characters who share their anecdotes and help her in her quest. From the Opera Garnier to the area around Saint-Lazare railway station, taking in the big department stores and theatres that encapsulate the district, the story lets us take a different look at the everyday life and the history that has animated it over the years.

  • Opera station, let the adventure start!

In the metro, people never look closely at each other – or maybe just a fleeting glance. Especially if you like the look of someone. I’ve been glancing at this guy when I see him on line 7 for weeks. I call him ‘"The stranger of the Opera station", because every morning that’s where he gets off.

  • Love in the rue Scribe

Why do we run after love? I ask the question because right now I’m literally running along the rue Scribe with the Opera behind me. I’m running after the stranger of the Opera station – to give him back the little notebook he dropped in the metro.

  • Bergson, where my troubles begin

They say love inspires you to do great things – but in my case it makes me do crazy things. I call Céline at the secretarial office of the philosophy department. I tell her I’m not well and ask her to inform the students who’ve been waiting for me in the classroom for half an hour. But she is alerted by the noise of traffic – and I end up telling her the whole story.
