Today, I am thrilled to chat with Keirstin Roose. Keirstin is a Division I T1D softball player, excelling at Coastal Carolina before joining the University of Georgia to pursue her Master’s in Biomechanics. Diagnosed recently at the age of 21, Keirstin balances this academic rigor while playing a highly competitive sport and managing Type 1 Diabetes. As the host of the Like a Girl Podcast and creator of a mentorship program called The D1 Blueprint, she powerfully advocates for confidence, mindset, and proving that T1D does not limit potential or performance for female athletes.
