Chad Althiser is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Major and 3x combat veteran, known for his leadership in some of the toughest environments on earth, including counterinsurgency and partnership-building missions in Afghanistan. Over his career, he’s earned multiple distinctions, including the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Valor, and was nominated for the 1st Marine Division’s Leftwich Trophy in 2009 for outstanding leadership. After retiring from active duty, he has continued serving others as a Veteran Team Leader with Semper Fi Odyssey, helping fellow veterans rebuild purpose and resilience. He brings a deep background in human performance: a 2x Ironman finisher, a Leadman Series finisher, and high-altitude research in Nepal, all of which fuel his belief in what people can achieve when the mind and body are pushed with purpose.Today, Chad channels that experience into his work with Sweethearts & Heroes, helping young people, educators, and high-risk professions — including high-voltage linemen — build adaptive mindsets and life-saving behaviors.
