Sweet Tea & Side Eye is where Southern charm meets queer chaos. Pull up a chair and pour yourself a glass as we talk life, relationships, family, travel, pop culture, and the stories that probably should’ve stayed between friends—but definitely won’t. We’re serving up plenty of laughs, a little unsolicited advice, and just the right amount of side eye. And when it’s time for The Queer Agenda, we dive into the politics, headlines, and issues affecting our community—with opinions, humor, and absolutely no pretending we have it all figured out. The tea is sweet. The opinions are strong. And nothing is off the table. Welcome to Sweet Tea & Side Eye.Copyright 2026 Sweet Tea and Side Eye Relazioni Scienze sociali
  • HAPPY PRIDE !!!
    Oct 7 2026

This week on Sweet Tea & Side Eye, we’re celebrating Atlanta Pride! We’re looking back at its history, sharing our favorite Pride moments, and talking about how we’re celebrating this year.

Alongside the joy, we’re making space to remember Matthew Shepard—his life, his legacy, and the heartbreaking hate that led to his murder. Pride is a celebration, but it’s also a time to honor those we’ve lost and remember why we keep showing up.

Lean in, pour yourself a glass of sweet tea, and join us as we reflect on our past and celebrate living out loud. ????????

“Light in the loafers.” “Limp wrist.” “He’s got a little sugar in his tank.”

This week on Sweet Tea & Side Eye, we’re talking about the queer stereotypes we heard growing up—and the ones people are somehow still saying out loud. Are any of them true? Where did they come from? And why did everybody’s aunt think she could tell a boy was gay because he liked to dance?

Listen, maybe I am light in my loafers with a limp wrist. That just means I can wave goodbye with flair while I walk away from your nonsense. ????

Come laugh with Josh and Dustin as we sort through the stereotypes, call out the ridiculous ones, and admit which ones might have us feeling a little too seen. ????????
