David Cheshire is a Director at AECOM, specialising in sustainability in the built environment. David is the author of Building Revolutions and the Handbook to Building a Circular economy,. The hierarchy proposed in Building Revolutions is referenced in the London Plan and he is currently working with the GLA to implement the Circular Economy Statement Guidance. David is currently writing a new book on regenerative design that will be published shortly.

Welcome to my podcast on Sustainability.

In this series, I will be interviewing a series of individuals involved in different aspects of addressing sustainability. Each conversation will be chatty, curious, informative and, hopefully a bit of fun.

During the "Home" conversations, I will have a guest from Alberta, my home, and for the "Away" episodes, I will talk with someone from outside of Alberta.

Themes will all be about sustainability but will vary, depending on current events and exciting new developments.

Each podcast will be in the region of 20 to 30 mins and will have at least the following questions:

1. What is your best "Dad Joke"?  There will be an on line poll to determine the best Dad Joke for each "Home and Away" pair.

2. How did you start out working in Sustainability?

3. What are you working on right now?

4. What have you seen in your field to give you the most reasons to be hopeful?

5. What one or two actions would you have all listeners do right now to make an impact on our move towards sustainability?
