Susan Werner's life has come full circle. Forager, traveler, log home builder, and writer.
She moved to Chicago and worked at Sherwin's, a legendary Health Food Store. From there, she built a 25-year career on the road as a sales rep. She toured the midwest meeting with farmers and retailers to get natural products on store shelves.
When her Dad wanted to sell the Home Place in Alabama, she and her husband jumped at the opportunity. They're living in an RV watching their log home being built.
Margie Peterson and Susan exchanged tales of historic health food stores, adventures in gardening, and Buddy's arrival at the home place.
