In this debut episode of The Community Beat, host Dan Dillon sits down with Steve Cohlmia — active Chairman, Past President, long-standing member of the Wichita Metro Crime Commission, and self-proclaimed "#1 Crime Guy."
Steve shares the heart behind the WMCC's mission and the driving "why" that keeps him — and the organization — focused on creating a safer, more connected community. From his decades of service to his deep belief in collaboration between citizens, businesses, and first responders, Steve's passion for Sedgwick County shines through every story.
Tune in to hear how the WMCC continues to make a lasting impact and why Steve believes Wichita is ahead of the curve when it comes to public safety and community partnership.
