Today, I want to invite you into a powerful and beautiful truth: you and I were created to know God’s glory here on earth—not just someday, but right now. And yet, if we’re honest, in a life often marked by trials, pain, and unexpected adversity, God’s glory can sometimes feel distant or even absent. But what if the very thing you’re walking through right now isn’t a sign of God’s absence… but the very place He intends to reveal His glory most clearly? That leads us to an important question: what is God’s glory?

All our relationships have different levels of engagement, differing levels of interaction and commitment, and even how vulnerable or intimate we are in that relationship. God desires to have intimate fellowship with us. And He is committed to that! What's more, there is a divine purpose to that fellowship. Do you know what that is?

Every one of us has faced a moment when something in our life ended — a season closed, a relationship changed, a failure happened, or perhaps God began stirring us toward something new. But here is the truth many people miss: God is the God of new beginnings.

As we close the holiday season - which I love to call the season of light, beginning with the Advent Traditions, then Hanukkah, and then the celebration of Christ's birth - we then enter a new season, a new year.And in every "entering" there is also a "leaving". What do you need to leave behind to enter your new year?

There are many things that can hinder a dynamic life of walking with God’s power, presence, and purpose. There is something in particular that research shows 92% of American Christians are impacted by, yet may be completely unaware of it. That is syncretism. What is that? God is the all-time great writer of stories. It's why His Word is full of them. And not only that, but as we give Him our lives, He is writing His beautiful story on the pages of our days - stories being read by the world around us of His faithfulness.

Commitment to right goals, especially God’s goals for us is a key that unlocks the success that we long for in any area of our lives. How committed are you to the purposes God has for you?

There’s an old and true saying that we become what we look at. We know this to be true because when we look at the negative around us, we get depressed. But when we look at the good things, we get encouraged. While positive thinking is a good habit, there is something greater – looking at God and being filled with His perspectives. They not only create peace, but carry authority to shift sorrow into joy and right alignment for His Kingdom advancement in us, our circumstances, families, and regions.
