What happens after you've confessed the things you're ashamed of, taken responsibility for the people you've hurt, and genuinely want to change?

In this bonus episode of Student of Life, I share part of my own journey of confronting manipulation, dishonesty, and the damage those patterns caused in my relationships.

Confession was an important part of my journey, but I eventually realized there was still work to do. I had to learn how to become healthy and stop viewing my entire life through the lens of what I'd done.

Through Scripture, Christian community, accountability, and ongoing growth, I'm learning that freedom in Christ doesn't erase responsibility for our past, and healing is something we continue to walk through.

Because life itself is ministry, and how we live with people matters.

Leadership often requires solving problems, but not everything we're carrying is actually a problem with a clean solution.

In this episode of Student of Life, I explore what it means to lead when multiple things are true at the same time. From navigating faith, family, career, and ministry to making decisions when different stakeholders each hold part of the picture, sometimes maturity means learning to manage a tension rather than trying to eliminate it.

That doesn't mean becoming indecisive. Leaders still have to make decisions. The challenge is developing enough understanding to make a sound decision, explain why we made it, learn from what happens, and remain willing to adjust.

Margin isn't just about having more free time. It's about having enough room in our lives to respond faithfully instead of constantly reacting from depletion.

In this episode of Student of Life, I reflect on a recent moment with my daughter that helped me recognize just how stretched I had become. We explore margin financially, emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, and relationally and the tension between learning to say no and still being willing to sacrifice when obedience requires it.

Looking briefly at the rhythms of Jesus, this is an invitation to pay attention to where we're depleted and ask whether some of the pressure we're carrying requires more than another prayer for strength. Maybe it also requires making some room.
