  • Episode 6: My Faith Testimony. How I Found God and How It Changed Everything
    Feb 4 2026

This episode is personal. I share my faith story and how God met me in seasons where I was surviving, not living.

If you have ever felt unwanted, unsafe, or like you had to be strong because it was not safe to be soft, this is for you. This is not about blame. It is about healing, identity, and redemption.

I talk about growing up with religion around me but feeling disconnected from God. I share how pain and broken trust shaped my identity and led me down chaotic roads while I searched for belonging.

Then I share the moment God started to change everything. A concert night. A conversation with strangers. An invitation to church. A prayer from a woman in a bathroom that made me feel seen for the first time.

You will hear how Mike and I kept showing up, even when we were struggling, and how God began to soften our hearts and rebuild our home. I share what baptism meant to me and why it was a turning point, not a finish line.

This episode is a reminder that healing is possible. That peace can replace survival mode. And that God restores what pain tried to steal. 00:00 Introduction to Healing and Identity 02:58 Childhood Struggles and Family Dynamics 06:22 Teenage Turmoil and Search for Belonging 09:22 Destructive Relationships and Self-Discovery 11:21 Meeting My Husband and Early Marriage Challenges 14:34 Finding Faith and Community 19:36 Baptism and Spiritual Awakening 25:10 Healing and Transformation 30:35 Restoring Identity and Purpose email - support@bakerfamilyfitness.com Instagram @bakerfamilyfitness

  • Episode 5: Building Discipline That Fits Real Life
    Feb 2 2026

When people hear the word discipline, they often think it means being strict, rigid, or forcing themselves to do things they do not want to do.

In this episode of Strength for Generations, we talk about what discipline actually is and how it is built in everyday life, not perfect routines.

Discipline is not about willpower or pressure. It is formed through small, repeatable choices that eventually become normal.

I share why most people are already disciplined in many areas of life and why health feels harder when it is treated as a separate project instead of part of daily living.

We talk about how discipline develops through repetition, not intensity, and how faith plays a central role in steady obedience.

This episode breaks down eight practical ways to build discipline that fit real life:

    1. Eat regular meals instead of skipping and trying to make up for it later.
    2. Move your body every day, even if it is light movement.
    3. Strength train at least twice per week.
    4. Keep workouts simple so they are easy to repeat.
    5. Aim for a consistent bedtime when possible.
    6. Adjust your routine when schedules change instead of abandoning it.
    7. Pay attention to your energy, hunger, and recovery.
    8. Stay with the basics long enough for them to become familiar.

If you leave with one truth, let it be this. Discipline is not punishment. It is faithfulness in small things

  • Episode 4: Why Strength Matters More Than Weight Loss
    Jan 28 2026

Weight loss is usually the first thing people focus on when they want to get healthy. But weight loss is not the same thing as health.

In this episode of Strength for Generations, we talk about why strength matters more than the number on the scale.

The scale only tells a small part of the story. It does not reflect energy, confidence, resilience, or how your body actually feels.

Strength changes how you move, how you carry yourself, and how capable you feel day to day. It supports your joints, bones, metabolism, and your ability to handle stress.

When you shift your focus from weight to strength, progress becomes clearer. Better energy. Improved mood. Clothes fitting differently. More confidence in your body.

This episode also breaks down what strength looks like in real life. Simple movements that support everyday living. And why you do not need long workouts or extreme programs to start.

If you leave with one truth, let it be this. Strength builds trust with your body and supports how you live, serve, and show up.
