  • Mass Migration, Balkanization, And The Death Of America with Joseph Ford Cotto
    Aug 30 2024
As more and more migrants immigrate to the United States and immigrants—particularly those lacking a Judeo-Christian background—sire their own children, the emergence of parallel societies has increasingly become a significant concern in the United States as the country's history and identity come under attack from revisionists within.

In cities like Dearborn and Hamtramck, Michigan, unassimilated immigrant communities have reshaped local culture and politics, raising questions about America's identity and unity.

Are we headed toward a divided America, split along cultural and ethnic lines?

In this episode of Strategic Wisdom, Andrew Jose speaks with Joseph Ford Cotto, author of What Happened to America?: How—and Why—the American Dream Became a Nightmare.

Together, they discuss the rise of parallel societies in the U.S., the challenges of assimilation, and what this trend means for national security. They also explore whether America can find common ground or if cultural divides will continue to grow.

  • The Abraham Accords After October 7 with Aryeh Lightstone
    Aug 16 2024
One of Hamas’ stated objectives, when the Palestinian militant outfit launched the October 7, 2023, attacks against southern Israel, was to derail the Abraham Accords normalization process between Israel and Arabs.

Has Hamas succeeded in the objective, as Israel’s war with the militant group entered its tenth month earlier this month?

What challenges has Israel’s “Operation Swords of Iron” brought to the Abraham Accords?

How has the Biden-Harris administration undermined and neglected the Accords, and what must a future Republican administration and Israel do to fix any damage the normalization process suffered due to the Palestinian attack on October 7?

To answer these questions, Andrew Jose, host of Strategic Wisdom with Andrew Jose and the Andrew Jose Show, sat down with Aryeh Lightstone, former U.S. Special Envoy for Economic Normalization and one of the architects of the Abraham Accords. Aryeh is the author of the book Let My People Know: The Incredible Story of Middle East Peace―and What Lies Ahead.

  • Neo-Tsymburskian Cycles In Russia's Relations With The West with Gordon Hahn
    Aug 9 2024
Can Russia's relations with the Western world be structured in cycles?

20th-century Russian philologist Vadim Tsymbursky thought so when he came up with what would be known as Tsymburskian cycles—a set of five moves ranging from alliance to confrontation and resistance against the West.

However, Tsymburksy did not take into account the domestic politics factor in his original theorization of the cycles—a gap that Gordon Hahn fills in his essay for Russia In Global Affairs titled "Neo-Tsymburskian Cycles in the History of Russian-Western Relations."

Gordon Hahn is an expert analyst at Corr Analytics ,a New-York-based political risk advisory firm. Hahn is a notable scholar of politics, international relations, and Islamist terrorism in Russia and Eurasia. He is the author of The Russian Dilemma: Security, Vigilance, and Relations with the West from Ivan III to Putin, and Ukraine Over the Edge: Russia, the West, and the “New Cold War.” Hahn’s most recent book is 'Russian Tselostnost’: Wholeness in Russian Culture, Thought, History, and Politics.

Gordon has previously taught at Boston University, American University, and Stanford University. He also served as a visiting fellow at the Kennan Institute in Washington, DC, and the Hoover Institution.

In this episode of Strategic Wisdom with Andrew Jose, I sat down with Hahn to discuss his neo-Tsymburksian cycles and how they can explain Russia's current predicament in Ukraine and the future of Russia's relations with the occident.

During our conversation, we discussed ontological security, the origins of Western and Russian discontent with relations between each other, and how the West can have more stable respect-based ties with Moscow.
