We’re Tim and Chris Peterson, and after four decades of marriage, we’re Still Holding Hands. Not because everything has always been easy—but because we’ve learned to stay connected through every season. Still Holding Hands is more than a name; it’s a reminder that marriage is built one small, intentional choice at a time. This channel is about honest conversations, faith, and practical encouragement to help couples keep choosing each other—no matter where they are in their journey.”

  • What Is Our Legacy? The Marriage You Are Building Is Becoming Someone's Inheritance
    Sep 23 2026

    What is our Legacy?

What if the marriage you’re building today becomes part of someone else’s inheritance tomorrow? Every couple is leaving a legacy. The question isn’t whether you’re building one—it’s what kind.

In this powerful episode of Still Holding Hands, Tim and Chris Peterson take a deeper look at marriage legacy and what it means to build a marriage that leaves something meaningful behind. Your children, grandchildren, friends, and even other couples watching your journey may be influenced by how you love, communicate, forgive, handle conflict, navigate difficult seasons, and keep choosing each other.

A strong Christian marriage isn’t just about making it through today. It’s about recognizing that the way you live out your marriage can become a blueprint for those who come after you.

      3. If you don’t have children, or don’t plan to have any, what is one thing we are doing right currently that we hope others would want in their marriage?
      4. What is one thing that we need to change so we don’t pass something unhealthy to the next generation?

  • How Did We Get Here? Discovering & Living A Life With Jesus At The Center - Part 2
    Sep 16 2026

In Part 2 of Still Holding Hands: How Did We Get Here?, Tim and Chris Peterson continue the conversation about what it really means to build a life with Jesus at the center. This time, the conversation moves beyond the moment of salvation and the early years of faith into the places where faith is tested, transformed, and ultimately matured.

And then we ask an even bigger question:

    How has Jesus changed you?

This episode explores the difference between knowing about Jesus and truly knowing Jesus—and how a lifetime of walking with Him changes the way we see everything.

    Prayer To Accept/Rededicate Jesus:

Lord Jesus, I come to you. I ask you right now to come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. I believe that you died for me. I thank you that you are the Lord of my life. From this day forward. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

    STILL HOLDING HANDS CHALLENGE:

    “Faith through difficult seasons”

    Ask each other:

    • “What is something you've walked through that changed the way you trust God?”
      • This isn't about forcing your spouse to share something they're not ready to share. It's about creating a safe place to say, “This is where I've been, and this is what Jesus has done in me.”
    • Then ask this powerful question:
      • “How would you describe your relationship with Jesus today, and what do you want that relationship to look like in the years ahead?”
    • Finally, each of you complete this sentence:
      • “After all these years, Jesus has been __________ to me.”
      • Then tell each other why

  • How Did We Get Here? Discovering & Living A Life With Jesus At The Center
    Sep 9 2026

    How did we get here?

Not just here in our marriage—but here in our faith, our relationship with Jesus, and the life we're building together?

In this episode of Still Holding Hands, Tim and Chris Peterson take a deeper look at the journey of making Jesus the center of your life and your marriage. Because faith isn't simply about the moment you accepted Christ. It's about what happens after you say yes.

For couples, this conversation is an invitation to go beyond simply asking, “How long have you been a Christian?” and start asking, “How has Jesus changed you?”

    STILL HOLDING HANDS CHALLENGE:

“Tell Me Your Story With Jesus”

This week's Still Holding Hands Challenge is about something deeper than learning more about your spouse's past.

This week, set aside some intentional time together. No phones. No distractions. Hold hands, sit across from one another, and take turns asking:

    1. Before Jesus

“Who were you before you truly knew Jesus, and what do you remember about your life during that season?”

    • Don't rush to fix, correct, or compare. Just listen.

    2. Meeting Jesus

“How did Jesus become real to you, and what do you remember about those early days of following Him?”

    • Ask about the people, moments, Scriptures, and experiences that helped shape their faith.

    3. Growing With Jesus

“What has been one of the biggest lessons Jesus has taught you through the years?”

    • You may discover a part of your spouse's spiritual journey you've never fully understood.

    Prayer To Accept/Rededicate Jesus:

Lord Jesus, I come to you. I ask you right now to come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. I believe that you died for me. I thank you that you are the Lord of my life. From this day forward. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
