Ken Engelman, author of “The Local Nonprofit”, is a long-time community volunteer, nonprofit advocate, and marketing professional who is using his creativity and marketing expertise to recycle political signage to now read “PLEASE BE KIND” and spreading this simple message on highway bulletin boards, school grounds, and campus grounds throughout his home state of Connecticut and beyond.
His passion is to create a kinder world, and he’s inspired many to be more creative in making it better. He created an organization, "Community Volunteers United."
