This week I am on vacation so I decided to bring you a special episode, courtesy of Allison Sheridan our guest from episode 14 who let me use audio from her Chit Chat Across the Pond podcast episode 463. Instead of interviewing a guest, this week's episode is a reenactment of a letter written by Allison's father while he was caught in a Typhoon off the island of Okinawa in japan during World War II. This was September 16th 1945 and he was a Chief Engineer aboard an amphibious ship there.
